Almond Meal Exfoliant Powder botanical name Prunis Amygdalus Dulcis, light creamy colour with occasional flecks of brown. Very faint almost negligible almond odour. It's soft, velvety and slightly grainy. If the pure almond meal is pressed onto the skin it leaves a very slight emollient film on the surface. Recent studies have shown that some of the phyto-nutrients found in almond can be beneficial in helping to reduce inflammation and support healthy immune function. Almond Meal Powder very gentle and nutritive exfoliant containing natural plant oils. This is suitable for adding to creamy cleansers or face masks to provide very gentle exfoliation while simultaneously nurturing the skin.

DIY Exfoliating Cleansing Cream: Add 5% to Cleanser Cream Base or Cleanser Lotion Base and mix in thoroughly.

DIY Nutritive Face Mask: Add a teaspoon of almond meal to a tablespoon of Green Clay Face Mask mix well and use as directed. Can be applied to face, neck, hands & forearms to cleanse and replenish necessary oils in one. The combination will also gently exfoliate while being washed off the skin.

How To Used :

Try adding 5-15% exfoliating granules to any of the natural base products such as creams base, lotions, aloe vera, cleansing milk, bathing products and soap or any others. Suitable for scrub soap making, body and foot scrub products.

Fresh almond meal should be kept refrigerated until use and combined with approximately Vitamin E to extend the shelf life in products by reducing oxidation of the nourishing oils. Add 1% Vitamin E to protect the natural oils if storing for more than a few days, and additional preservative if required.
